Hannah J. Mundell is a second year student at Durham University studying for a BA in Modern Languages and Cultures (Spanish & Italian). Hannah’s interest in languages stemmed from that first language lesson at 11years old when her teacher welcomed the class in Spanish and she couldn’t understand a word ! This interest continued, spurring her on to pick up ab-initio Italian at A-Level. After having visited Barcelona and studying the films of Ventura Pons, this coming year she will take up Catalan with a view to staying in Catalonia on her year abroad.
